I really hate my laptop's hard drive.

I mean, I really REALLY hate it.

Currently, it just keeps on clicking and clicking. I don't know why it always happens to me on Sundays but I think this hard drive really hates me. I mean, it must despise me if it always screws up on a Sunday right?

I've got so many files on it: 441 mp3s, the most recent South Park episode, my assignments from the current semester, invaluable programs, addresses, and other stuff. And no, I don't have porn on it.

I prayed to God last night to fix it for me. Well, it looks like God is pissed at me too because the damn hard drive is still clicking it's damn ass off.

I want to replace it but then you have to remove the holder. And every philips screwdriver I have tried using can't even remove the screws from the holder. Damn Compaq, now I know why this laptop was so cheap.

I even have a presentation paper on the hard drive and it's due tomorrow. I want to fricking get this hard drive working so I can just print it out and that's the end of it.

ei daniel,

looks like your hard drive is quite damaged, the clicking sound you're hearing is the hard drive needle touching the disk, i think u might have to backup your files immediately before you lose them... i guess you are also experiencing "hanging" applications, busy status and blue screens, try using a star precision screw driver, the ones they use when servicing cellular phones, to remove the casing of the HDD. hope this helps.
