I just watched Best of the Best. Man, I want 97 minutes of my life back. How the hell did I find this movie really cool when I was young. Man, the mix of corny music, stupid one-liners, and overacting really did it for me. I wanted to kill myself at the end of the movie. On top of that, the video transfer on the DVD was VHS quality and the sound was only stereo. I also found the film to be incredibly racist against Asians (despite written by an Asian American). Wow, the American coach speaks in a whisper while the Korean coach has to fucking scream at his fighter! And what the hell is up with all the WWII allegories?

How the fuck did I find this to be a great movie years ago?!
