What the fuck is happening with me? First, my right ear has an ear infection. Now my left ear is beginning to hurt. When I mean hurt, it really fucking hurts. I want to punch someone now. And that someone is Dr. Ahmed Shaher. When he checked my ears, he hesistated for a while and then said, "I give you antibiotics." The asshole should have at least flushed my ears because I know I have a shitload of earwax in my ears. The last time I had an ear infection it was in 2002. When the doctor checked my ears, he flushed both of them. Within 2-3 days, the pain was gone. The pain is still fucking here in my ears. And it's hurting more and more on my left ear.

I know this is late but here it is.

Man, I've had this earache since Tuesday morning and it's hurting really bad. Sometimes I can't even sleep. Because of this stupid ear infection, I can't even hear out of my right ear. It's pretty funny because whenever I have to listen to someone I have to point my right ear towards him/her. It sucks because I really want to listen to these new Incubus tracks but I can't because you can't hear shit one sided.

Is it just me or is television getting better? Well, I think because I'm watching everything in HD now everything has been badass. The Jack Bauer Power Hour (or the what the "people" call "24") has been so fucking awesome. When Jack took those scissors, jammed it on the side of the guy's throat, and then proceeded to karate chop them in even fucking DEEPER, the show went into another level! Lost has been okay, the storyline has been dead as ever in the water, it's not moving and the flashbacks are getting annoying but it looks like that the next episode in two weeks will be great. School has been okay, some teachers are just weird and some teachers are pretty nice. I hope this semester will pass by quick, I hate taking fucking general education classes.

I saw two movies in the past few weeks. One was great and the other not so great. Sympathy for Lady Vengeance was absolutely enthralling, especially during the most disturbing sequences. I loved it from beginning to end and it is a great capper for Chan-wook Park's revenge trilogy. The not so great film I'm talking about is Wilson Yip's overhyped and too serious Sha Po Lang. This film folks is not what it truly aspires to be. People who have seen the film have called the best Hong Kong film in the past decade. The problem is that it is not even as good as the third installment of Infernal Affairs (and that one was the worst of the IA trilogy). The plot is not original at all (as some people have called it), it is completely contrived. The characters have good and bad sides (wow, what originality!) and two of them (Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung) know martial arts!!!!!!! The problem is that we don't know why they know how to fight in this film. Then there's this annoying subplot with Yen and how he made a criminal literally into a retard (complete with video game playing). Why do they always bring retards into arcades in movies? Aside from all these negatives, the fight sequences are extremely well done and the ending is really really dark.

Sympathy for Lady Vengeance: A+
Sha Po Lang: C
