This is a blog post to Mozzie, a Filipino band founded by four of my cousins (until one left for undisclosed reasons).

The content is absolutely wonderful but wow, the guys who did the recording really did a shitty job.

First, I found it absolutely frustrating to go through the masters and find not just the great takes but even the bad ones in the same goddamn folder. I know you're supposed to keep the bad takes as well BUT at least they should have at least put them in another folder.

Second, they should have recorded everything in fucking 32-bit. I find it difficult to work with a great vocal at 32-bit only to supplement it with a 16-bit track of FG's guitar. In addition, some of the drums are recorded at 24-bit! Uh, some consistency FUCKING PLEASE! If they didn't have any more HD space, then they should have bought more because they're the FUCKING studio!

Third, on a disc called "MASTERS" they should have at least put audio stems for each track so I can at least have an easier job making pans, adding effects, etc. instead of asking one of the band members take a considerable amount of time out of their life just to make me a text file of all the good takes so I put together one fucking audio track stem.

Finally, there's some great vocals in there. The only problem? The best vocal tracks have so much hiss in them, Pam must have been in a room full of fucking anacondas OR the recording engineer just didn't give a shit on how to fucking soundproof a goddamn recording booth. On top of that, some of the best vocal tracks are in FUCKING 16-bit! We are living in a world at 24-to-32-bit fucking bit and all they give is 16-bit? WTF?!

Jesus Christ, I can't wait for Fi's text files so I can already fix their album!

I could tell you about my H-U-G-E crush on Ellen Page....

....or my crush on "Juno" screenwriter Diablo Cody. I absolutely adore this woman, she's funny, a great writer (here's her blogs), sports some great tats, and the best part about her, she has a great sense of humor.

But I'm not. And Juno, I absolutely love that movie.
Even though I haven't finished it yet.

I could also tell you about Patton Oswalt's blog right here because it's so fucking hilarious, nerdy, and geeky.

I'm just going to tell you about Alvin and the Chipmunks and that it's really, really made for kids and Sweeney Todd sounds so absolutely amazing and is one of the best and most brutally violent films I've seen released in 2007.

I'm also going to tell you how I felt so embarrassed because the chairs next to the Greenbelt theatres are made of fucking aluminum foil and how when I sat in one it completely collapsed on me. Yes, that's right, when I sat down on the chair it was like a fucking mountain falling apart. I fell down S-L-O-W-L-Y while Kat yelped. When I looked back at the chair, the back legs were were parallel to the fucking floor. And I've never felt so embarrassed in my life but the Filipino people are so, so kind and didn't even laugh or chuckle. Most of the people around me even helped me off the ground. I bet if I was in the U.S. they would be chuckling and laughing as if there would be no tomorrow and on top of that, no one would be helping me.

I've been having so much fun here. I'm gonna miss this place considerably when I leave. Every time I leave here it's like I'm breaking up with someone. Well, that's how my brother felt and look at his life now.

I can't believe it....

I only have one fucking week left here in the Philippines.

Jesus Christ, I can't believe time flew by so fucking fast. I've been having so much of a great time here that I forgot to do shit. Some days I wake up so goddamn late (today, I woke up at 5:13 PM) that I just eat dinner, go upstairs for some internet, and go back to sleep. I think when I leave I'm gonna cry again just like last year.

There are some negatives living here though:
- Because Tito Luis bombed Lola Charit's old house, a shitload of mosquitoes came out and everyday I have to do fucking battle with just one mosquito in Tito Villy's room.
- NO BIDET! I needs the bidet!
- My fear of there being a goddamn cockroach in the fucking garbage when I go to the bathroom at night.

God, I wish I had more money so I could give a feast for everyone here before I leave. A feast of pizza, KFC, and burgers probably?????

And man, oh man, oh man, oh man......
Jesus Christ, I thought I'd never watch a movie worse than Agimat or Super Noypi.......I'd never imagine that it would come from Manny Pacquiao.....Christ, Anak Ng Kumander was such pure shit and bile that Ramon, Miggy, JL, and I didn't even finish it. Shit, it was so bad that apart from 2 others in the theatre, it was just the 4 of us. And the movie was just released a few days ago.

Things I learned from Anak Ng Kumander:
- It looks like a chicken edited the thing.
- Manny Pacquiao doesn't know the term "over-the-top"
- The fight scenes are shit if you could call it fight scenes.
- The main villain has gay henchmen

Man, I need to come back here with Wency this Christmas. Maybe I should just come here EVERY Christmas.

On a much bigger note, Warner Bros. went Blu-Ray exclusive today. Yes, you read right, WB went Blu-Ray exclusive!

This must be a big blow to HD-DVD compared to when Paramount/Dreamworks went HD-DVD exclusive.
