In today's WHAT THE FUCK moment, Jesse Bradford was cast as the male lead in the U.S. remake of My Sassy Girl. Elisha Cuthbert already has been cast as the "sassy girl".

Why the fuck is Jesse Bradford (Swimfan, Flags of Our Fathers, King of the Hill, Clockwatchers, Bring It On) cast as the guy? The charm of the original was that the guy wasn't handsome to begin with. It was his personality that won the girl over but now they have fucked it all up by casting uberfuckhead Jesse Bradford (whose acting is pure shit to say the least). Cuthbert is a great choice in the role of the sassy girl because she can be a bitch sometimes and that is what is required of the role. A perfect casting choice would have been Justin Long. He looks dorkish and kinda naive and he can act! Other good choices would have been Adam Brody or Colin Hanks. Way to go fucking Hollywood!

I downloaded the Devil Wears Prada. I was suprised to say that I enjoyed it. To this viewer it was well done and well acted. Yes, the plot is after school special type stuff but Anne Hathaway (god, is she fucking hot) made me like it. I also watched this Japanese movie titled "Blood and Bones". Sorry, it's not an action picture but a very strong emotional drama starring Beat Takeshi. I can say that the movie was great. It completely held my attention for its strong two and a half hours.

TV Show update:

"Prison Break": So far, this show has been so goddamn awesome. It's ompelling and fast paced at the same time. Thank God people have been uploading this on torrent sites because I have school Mondays and I HATE goddamn commercials.

"House": Another show from FOX that's kicking mucho ass and taking names. CBS is trying to dupicate the name formula of an asshole character who cares about people with "Shark" but I've heard that it sucks. The last two episodes have been top notch so far.

"American Dad": Okay, the first episode fucking sucked but the second one redeemed it. This may be the second funniest animated show on TV after "South Park".

"Family Guy": After a great season premiere, some of the writers at Family Guy have been losing their touch. This is a continuing decline that began since last season and it's beginning to show through again. Yes, there are moments of brilliance within the last episode but there's something definitely lacking in these recent episodes.

"Extras": I don't know if I have ever mentioned this show before (I think I did). This show is downright stupendous. From the makers of "The Office" (the UK one), this show is the definition of comedy. From the sharp writing to the amazing performances from the main cast and guests alike, this show is already a true classic. The last episode with guest star Orlando Bloom is one of the best comedic episodes I have EVER SEEN. Where else can you hear Orlando Bloom calling Johnny Depp a freak? Where else can you see Patrick Stewart talking about a show where he has powers that can make womens' clothes fall off?

Quotes from "Idiocracy"

It's sad that a movie like Mike Judge's "Idiocracy" is just dropped into theatres without promotion while some shit cliched movie like "John Tucker Must Die" is promoted like crazy (by the same film distributor, mind you). I say this because "Idiocracy" is fucking damn funny and great. If you don't remember Mike Judge, he's the guy who directed the gut-rippingly funny "Office Space." "Idiocracy" was released last Friday (Sept. 1st) without ANY promotion. No commercials, no trailers, NOTHING. There are so many great moments in the film that I can't list them all here. It's now in theatres. Watch it before it's gone on Friday. I'll even go to say that it's the funniest movie I've seen all year.

On another note, I recommend the music of Regina Spektor. She's hot, beautiful, and has an amazing voice. Download the tracks "Fidelity" or "Us" and you'll see what I mean.

Hey Mozzie? When is your EP being released?

I didn't watch the entire MTV Video Music Awards. After the first 30 minutes, it was so goddamn boring that I didn't care anymore. I only woke up to see Kanye presenting Hype Williams with that fucking lifetime award thingy. I heard that the show was shitty. The performances were shitty, Jack Black was shitty, and the winners were shitty. I heard that Missy Elliot won for best special effects in a video. What the cockshit?! Didn't they ever see Nine Inch Nails' video for "Only"? That set a new bar for special effects in a music video. I still think that the best VMAs were in 1997. That show rocked the shit. Chris Rock was funny, the performances were awesome, and the nominees were all deserving.

I was definitely pissed when Kanye West said that Hype Williams is a genius and reinvented the music video. What? Did I hear that correctly? All his music videos were the same! They all had rappers opening bottles of Cristal while wearing their fucking bling. I think that Williams degraded the value of a music video rather than reinventing it. The only music video director I see that was truly great was Mark Romanek. Watch his DVD if you have to. It is definite proof that the guy is amazing.
